This week we stopped by Kresen Kernow to see
#BMWArtJourney artist Abigail Reynolds’s beautiful work ‘Tre’.🌲
Taking pride of place in the large window, ‘Tre’ is a permanent commission for the library at Kresen Kernow, the Cornish archive. The work celebrates Medieval Cornish language manuscripts; how these relate to the landscape now. The commission also explores ideas of home and homecoming, and what it means to be at home in Cornwall today. It takes inspiration from historic manuscripts, people’s stories, and the local landscape and features green roundels of glass handmade from Cornish sand.
