🌏Checking in on our 2021 BMW Art Journey winner, Julien Creuzet... Earlier this year, the Paris-based artist began his Art Journey in his homeland of Martinique. When unforeseen challenges arose due to Covid travel restrictions, Creuzet's expedition has taken an interesting, if not unexpected, turn. In a recent "Notes From The Journey" conversation with András Szántó, Creuzet reflects on the first part of his art journey, on his role in providing support to other French Caribbean artists in his community, and redirecting the remaining stages of his Art Journey to Munich. "I am playing with the parameters of the journey. I wasn't able to accomplish everything I had originally set out to do in Martinique, partly because of the limitations imposed by Covid. I needed to adapt my initial proposal, to accept the realities of our moment."
