Honest review of the stumper240 attachment. My only complaint thus far… it’s slow. The rpm’s on our sk1550 are not high enough to make this attachment time efficient. It took 30 minutes to grind a 20” soft wood stump 10” into the ground. However, for smaller 12” stumps it’s surprisingly fast. As a matter of fact we ground a 9” stump in 31 seconds. But it works for what we do. If you are like us and only grind stumps as a part of your landscaping projects throughout the year it’s perfect. If you grind stumps everyday this attachment is not for you but for the price tag of $9k vs $80k for a Bandit it’s well worth the investment. Another benefit is we don’t have to haul around another machine to get the job done which saves tons of time! We just take the attachment with us on jobs we need it on.
