As a pitcher I can’t stress the importance of having a good catch play partner enough. Throwing with someone who has been where you want to be is so clutch. Not only do they have so much to offer when it comes to knowledge of the game and pitching. But also when you pay attention to their pitches, the way they make adjustments, where they throw, certain pitches, etc. you can really learn a ton just buy observation nevertheless conversation. - They take their catch play seriously, every rep has a goal. - So many think that Baseball is all about physical reps, but you can also learn just as much if not more just by simply sitting down and talking about sequencing, grips, pitch counts, pitch locations, righty and left tendencies, etc. That’s why I’m grateful for Big leaguers I’ve come across in my career like Tanner, Mike Broadway, rstan...
