Camping is supposed to relieve stress, but sometimes trying to find a campsite in a national park can cause a lot of tent-sion. Luckily, we have some new advice: try camping in national forests! Often, if you’re looking to explore a national park site, national forests are very close, and most share a border with the park but have easier access to camping sites! The national forests have much more land to work with, so there are three options: book in advance for formal campsites, seek out ones that are first-come, first serve, or try your luck with open, dispersed free camping in select parks! This way, everyone can be happy campers. #Camping #Camp #Campsite #Campground #NationalParks #NationalForests #NationalParkService #Forest #Adventure #Outdoors 📸: U.S.ForestService Image: Looking out the door of a yellow tent at a person and two kayaks.
