#DidYouKnow a super easy way to tell an alligator from a crocodile is to stick your head in its mouth to see its teeth?
Just kidding, we DO NOT recommend that method of identification. There are actually a couple of other ways to tell! Many people tell them apart by the shape of their snouts! Alligators usually have a broad U-shaped snout; on a crocodile, it’s typically narrow and V-shaped.
But ironically, you can tell a crocodile because it has a large lower fourth tooth. Happy
