“Fish On!” was the rallying cry of these kids on this trip! This past Saturday, the Park Trust teamed up with the marinesanctuaryfdn, noaasanctuaries, noaafisheries, and NOAA’s Ocean Guardian Schools Program to take students and their families out to the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary for a day of oceanic fun! The students from Key Largo boarded the fishing charter boat and learned from NOAA experts all about the fish and wildlife that live in the marine sanctuary and what they could do to help preserve the area! To cap off a fantastic day, all the participants learned to fish, put their new skills into action, and went home with their fishing gear to come back and fish again as a family. But wait, there’s more! This is only the first trip of three in the partnership between NOAA and the National Park Trust, so keep your eye out for more trip reports to come! #NOAA #NationalOceanicAndAtmosphericAdministration #Ocean #Atmosphere #Sea #Fishing #Students #Fish #MarineLife #...
