What do maple sugar, the water cycle and police officers have in common?
The Buddy Bison School Program of course!! As the weather has warmed up, so has the Park Trust Buddy Bison School Program trip schedule.
Photos 1 and 2: Third graders from Frederick Elementary visited the local Oregon Ridge Nature Center to learn about maple sugaring!
Photos 3 and 4: In Maryland, fifth graders at Wheaton Woods Elementary School learned how water works at the Robinson Nature Center.
Photos 4 and 5: In Washington D.C., a group of 3rd-6th graders spent a day meeting live animal ambassadors at Watkins Nature Center. These kids are part of a special partnership with code3_association, a Washington DC based organization that focuses on promoting healthy relationships between local youth and their community police officers.
