#OnThisDay in 1926, Mammoth Cave National Park was dedicated as a national park to permanently protect the largest cave system in the world. Its labyrinth of limestone and karst topography has more than 400 miles to discover. The National Park Service estimates that there could be 600+ miles of cave that has gone unexplored. #FunFact: This year, we helped 395 school students explore Kentucky’s only national park.
