Just like a clownfish lives in sea anemones for protection, the White-throated woodrat (Neotoma albigula) makes its nest among the prickly pear and cholla cactus found at lakemeredithnps. #FunFact: We completed a land project at Lake Meredith National Recreation Area in 2018. The 3-acre land parcel was a part of a contiguous area of prehistoric and archaeological resources dating back more than 13,000 years.
