Activity is continuing to heat up on our community farm in Burkina Faso! We are excited to report that 100% of the 124 available plots on the 4.5 hectare farm are now occupied by farm members from the community of Komsnedego. News of the consistent harvests driven by our year-round irrigation system has spread far and wide, and our waiting list for future plots also has over 100 names! Farm members pay a small fee to rent 1 or 2 plots of land, giving them access to the solar-powered irrigation system, plus consultations and hands-on training on sustainable agriculture practices from our farm field coordinator. As you can see, the farmers are continuing to happily reap the rewards of their hard work and their partnership with The Sonder Project.
