Martha and her family decided to participate in Lemonade Days after their youngest child, Noah, was diagnosed with high-risk B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia not once, but twice.
Inspired by Alex Scott’s determination to make a difference for herself and all kids fighting cancer despite her situation, they wanted to help find a cure for Noah and all kids as well.
“My favorite part of hosting a lemonade stand is knowing the money we raise may be the money that funds a clinical trial that saves a child's life,” said Martha. “We are thankful to know that 100% of the money raised goes straight to childhood cancer research through Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.”
Thankfully, Noah has finished treatment and reached remission!
