A dispersal order was called around 6:27 p.m. with a 30-minute warning for arrest. Officers also threatened tear gas and pepper spray if people did not disperse. Law enforcement officials, carrying batons and tear gas, are on the front lawn of the hall, which is now clear of tents and other supplies that were gathered there last night. As of 6:50 p.m. officers began removing protesters from the hall, with each protester being flanked by two officers. It is unclear how many protesters remain inside the building. Groups of protesters are also chanting “Free, free Palestine” and “the people united will never be defeated” on both sides of the barricaded road. This is a developing story, check back in for updates. ✍️: Ayah Ali-Ahmad, Veronica Roseborough . . . #dailycal #ucberkeley #encampment
