This World Oceans Day, we want to pay tribute to the fishermen behind the Upcycling the Oceans project. Without them, this ambitious project that started with 3 fishermen in the port of Villajoyosa, Spain would simply not exist. Today, we are proud to collaborate with over 4,200 fishermen in Spain, France, Italy and Greece. Every day, when they go out to fish, they sadly, collect kilos and kilos of waste from the ocean. And instead of leaving it where they found it, they bring it back to port and recycle it, to not only clean our ocean, but also give that waste a second life. We are deeply thankful for their hardwork and for what they do for our oceans every day.
