For Hannah W. ‘24, nursing means connecting with patients and showing them kindness when they need it most. At age 14, she discovered her interest in the field while working at a nursing facility and will now be graduating from unhchhs with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Following graduation, Hannah is excited to make a difference as a nurse at wdhospital_nh in her hometown of Dover, NH.   Hannah’s placement at Dover’s Wentworth-Duglass Hostpital (WDH) comes after completing an internship there this summer as a Flynn Fellow. The Flynn Fellowship is a highly competitive program that places nursing students in paid internships at leading cancer hospitals.
