Our nieces LOVED Yosemite— and NOW is waterfall season… Here’s what you need to know ⤵️ (most important at the end)
⏰ The best time to see waterfalls in
#Yosemite is SPRING! Snowmelt runoff typically occurs in May & June 👌. (This year we visited in late March and can confirm—the waterfalls are WILD in 2024!)
💦 3 Fam-Friendly Falls:
**Lower Yosemite Falls:** 1 to 1.5 miles / Mostly flat and paved, suitable for all skill levels.. & pup friendly! 🐶
**Bridalveil Fall:** 0.5 miles - mostly paved and accessible.
**Vernal Fall:**
-the most strenuous of the 3 (we all took turns carrying my nieces half way 😮💨— 1.6 miles one-way via the Mist Trail. Bring a rain jacket even if it’s sunny—you’ll get sprayed 💦
🐻 Before visiting - Familiarize yourself with park regulations, including bear safety precautions (bear spray is not allowed!), Leave No Trace principles leavenotraceorg, and any temporary closures or restrictions in place.
