In NYC’s Chinatown, Fong On has been a neighborhood institution for over 90 years. Paul Eng, the third-generation owner of Fong On, is continuing the legacy. Born in the city, he grew up to be a rock musician playing CBGB’s to commercial photographer for more than a decade in Moscow. Nostalgia and love for his family’s recipes inspired Paul to reopen Fong On, with the help of his wife, to preserve the legacy and bring it forward for his kids.
