As part of the October ‘This Kent Girl Can’ campaign, we would like to honour our amazing Female Falcons, Samira Conteh, Delta Npuna and Michelle Boismenu. Samira is in her third season as a Falcon after being the first woman to join back in 2015/16. She returns from her year abroad at WVU to take up the role of Game Day Officer. Delta returns to her second season with the Falcons, but has been playing the sport for years and is even part of Team GB for Women’s American Football.
Last but certainly not least, our newest member Michelle who joins us all the way from Canada. We are glad that she chose the Falcons for her first ever season playing the sport. It can be hard for women to join what is seen as a predominantly ‘male sport’. This is why Samira, Delta and Michelle are such inspirations.
