Almost halfway through season and we get the opportunity of a couple weeks before AVP Hermosa to focus in on specific skills, get stronger in the gym, and add new tools in the sand. 🤙🏼 Love reflecting on how much growth that has taken place this rookie season so far... The level of teams in the qualifier has gotten stronger each tournament and it makes each tour stop that much more exciting as I prepare. Making it the final round and losing close matches is crushing, especially when it’s so close you can taste it. But it’s so important to maintain and harness that excitement and passion and to understand that not succeeding right away isn’t a failure. Coming back to fight and work for it everyday until you get there is a success in itself. Honestly having the pressure and expectation to do something that most people dream of doing is truly a privilege, and one that I don’t plan on taking for granted.
