The Apollo 17 Mission Flight Director, Gerry Griffin ‘56, orchestrated the War Hymn playing in space. Griffin also sent his Aggie ring to the moon with the Apollo 12 mission, reaching the farthest distance from Aggieland ever recorded for an Aggie ring.
