In celebration of #InternationalDayOfFriendship we spoke to Leading Senior Constable Karen Patten, Inspector Kevin Coughlan and Commander Deb Robertson whose friendship started 40 years ago at the Victoria Police Academy. While their careers have taken them far and wide, the three have kept in touch over the years - celebrating each other's wins and offering support to each other in times of need. "Policing is a rewarding and often challenging occupation. It has been the friendships formed, the sharing of experiences and support from work colleagues over the years that has certainly contributed to my longevity in Victoria Police,” Karen said.
