Victoria Police is honoured to have taken part in NAIDOC events across the state over the past week. We’ve enjoyed participating in celebrations that acknowledged and recognise our Aboriginal and Torres Strait community and their culture in light of this year's theme 'For Our Elders'. Some highlights included: ⚫ Attending smoking ceremonies and flag raising ceremonies far and wide. 🟡 Walking in NAIDOC marches, embracing community spirit. 🔴 The launch of Horsham Police Station’s new artwork by Wotjobaluk/Gunaikurnai artist Thomas Marksey Marks and Narrunga & Ngarrindjeri descendant Aunty Pam.
