This photo doesn’t look extra special I’m sure. It is, though. In it, you will see another step towards independence. This is the first time Sam went to chipotle and did the entire order herself. She asked for exactly what she wanted, had to use “stretchy lips” and to speak slowly and loud enough to be heard. She also had to advocate for herself and tell them she has celiac disease. This was a big moment that she shared with Max (sibling). We are all so proud of her and the small gains she makes everyday. #speechtherapy #selfadvocate
