We have spent a few years going to see Dr Wing and his staff. We didn’t know how Samantha would do with braces. After a few hospitalizations, she was deathly afraid of anyone wearing medical gloves. Dr. Wing quickly won her over and she was never afraid to go see him. If you are wondering if kids with #downsyndrome can successfully wear braces, I can tell you they probably can! Sam did great. She had an expander and another appliance to keep her from sucking her fingers. She then spent a few years with rubber bands in all sorts of directions! She now has a beautiful 😀. #soworthit #toystory
