I’m grateful to be home, but even more grateful for the experiences I just had with this group of people. I’ve wanted to see Pompeii ever since the 1984 tv miniseries “Last Days of Pompeii”, and it did not disappoint. I think that was my first time being in a preserved 2000+ year-old city, a snapshot of Roman life. We only had a few hours there, but our awesome tour guide, Francesca, helped us hit all the spots we needed to see. More random photos to come.
