Calling all Louisiana Greenpeacers! Will you join us in Lake Charles this Earth Day?
While oil & gas executives are planning a massive expansion of exportation in Southwest Louisiana, frontline communities are already suffering from an overabundance of polluting oil, gas, and petrochemical facilities.
On April 22 at 9:30am CT, members of the Lake Charles and surrounding areas will come together for a march & rally to demand a safer, healthier future for our communities. Featuring musicians, allies, and speakers sharing their stories of both environmental injustice and continued hope, this event will shout “enough is enough!” to fossil fuel expansion and celebrate the region's unique environment and culture.
