Life is full of interactions that consist of negotiating that you might not even realize. This book has taught me that the best way to negotiate is actually showing empathy and creating an authentic relationship with the other party. It also shares the value in tactics like mirroring work or Jedi mind tricks by making your counterpart think your goals were their ideas. Most importantly, this book has taught me that in order to be a great negotiator, you have to be a great listener.
