Dylan Black '20 will teach English in the Czech Republic next year — one of three PC students awarded English Teaching Assistantships through the_fulbright_program this year. The mathematics major and economics minor is considering a career in teaching those subjects on the college level, after earning a doctorate. At PC, he served as a mathematics tutor and he was awarded a fellowship last summer to work with middle school students in Providence through generationteach. “Math is such a great major,” he said. “It opens you up to endless possibilities. But then it’s a matter of what to specifically do with it. I wanted to try teaching. I’m not sure it’s my path, but I fell in love with it through the fellowship.” Read more about Black by clicking our #LinkinBio. #PC2020
