Meet NICHOLAS!🌟 Nicholas was diagnosed from birth with Atypical Cerebral Palsy and Mitochondrial Disease, a rare disorder that causes the mitochondria to not produce enough energy. When he was 14 months old, Nicholas and his family connected with Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and they haven’t looked back since. Nicholas’s parents, Kevin and Laura, commended that the medical team “pulled together and developed outside the box plans that have honestly changed his life!” From undergoing series of botox injections to bilateral hamstring and hip flexor release, Nicholas has grown into a happy, confident, and funny teenager!
