Doreth Williams worked at Holland Bloorview as the head nurse on “Unit C” from 1976 until her retirement in 1988. She looks back on those days with incredible fondness: “We didn’t just care for the physical needs of the infant and pre-school children we cared for. We also focused on their emotional needs and helped children bond with their parents. Something as simple as picking a child up after bathing them and saying ‘I love you.’" #NationalNursingWeek .
