ZD would like to highlight a few of our graduates who participated in The Donning of the Kente ceremony yesterday evening. Hosted by the the Black Alumni Chapter and the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association, this ceremony is a celebration of cultural achievement, using the West African Kente cloth as a symbol of African American heritage to acknowledge the academic achievements and future aspirations of students from minoritized groups. This year keynote speaker was ZD’s very own, Brother Cameron Blount (Spr 23)! Congratulations to all the recipients!
