Representatives from our Level I trauma team recently conducted a free bike helmet safety event at the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon. During this event, the children in attendance learned the importance of wearing a properly fitting helmet and how to ride the roads safely. Injury prevention and the promotion of community health and wellness are integral components of our WMCHealth mission.
