What used to be called Better Hearing and Speech Month is now National Speech-Language-Hearing Month! 💛 This is traditionally a month to raise awareness for all that audiologists and SLPs do - let me tell you having been on both the patient and professional side.. you think a lot happens at our appointments - A TON goes on behind the scenes! 🤟 National Speech-Language-Hearing Month is an annual observance in May that raises awareness about communication disorders and promotes the importance of early detection and treatment. Early detection can give you time - time to consider options and resources to best make choices most appropriate for YOU and YOUR family. Access to early intervention services is KEY.
