These are some of the random, every-which-way kind of thoughts and conversations that I had with myself before I met my husband. 💕 I remember hanging out with friends at a noisy bar. Upon returning to our table from the bathroom someone said "Michelle! Three guys tried to talk to you and you just walked right by them!" "Oh really? Oops...I didn't hear them!" I said laughing it off. I've been called rude, snobby, told that I don't care - the list goes on. Please know that I didn't mean it and that I DO care! I've always addressed my hearing loss with people if it came up - but the dating world is a whole 'nother story! Dating is nerve-wracking, exciting, exhausting and fun - it brings out every emotion possible! Unfortunately, sometimes people discover I have a disability and it's the only thing/first thing they "see." One date once ended with the comment, "You know, you should have put your hearing loss in your dating profile. I want to have kids one day and that would have affected...
