How do you define a successful marathon? When the heat wilted Dylan’s goal of running a PR at this year’s Boston Marathon, he recalibrated expectations. “You can have a PR on the number of hand slaps, high fives, or even the number of marathons you finish. I had more hand slaps than ever this year.”
Dylan is a runner who thrives with Autism and races with the support of achilles_international, in this case he was guided by HOKA Elite Mike Wardian. After the race, Mike said, “Achilles International gives me the opportunity to help others achieve their dreams. I love seeing people do incredible and inspiring things and if I can be a small part of that process, I feel happy.”
