#RAISEIT63 ROBBERY BY THE BAY!! The Pirates take away what seemed like a sure win for the Giants by rallying for a 4-run ninth inning to capture a 6-4 victory! The Giants struck early with one on the board in the first, a score that held until the 5th where the Pirates evened it up via Jacob Stallings’s 5th HR of the year. Stallings has come into his own this year at the plate as the number two catcher on the depth chart, and though he may not have the best statistics to back that up, you can just tell by watching his plate presence and clutch hitting ability. The teams exchanged a few more runs in the following innings where the score ended up being 4-2 Giants after 6. Trevor Williams didn’t pitch too well in what might be considered an average start that could’ve been worse. He wasn’t able to finish the 6th where Michael Feliz bailed him out before the situation could result in further damage. Williams’s line: 5.2 IP, 8 H, 4 R/ER, 3 BB, 6 SO.
