When you find out that you’ve been nominated for an Outstanding Educator Award by fellow theatre artists. 🥹 No matter what the outcome - knowing that a room full of people, who are as passionate about arts education as I am, chose me out of more than one hundred brilliant theatre educators for a nomination makes all the years I have been doing this (especially after losing a child and wanting to give it all up) not feel so small.
