As my first semester of college comes to an end, I look back and have no words to thank for each of the moments I’ve lived. 10 months ago I decided to leave the track as an athlete knowing that it was a stage of my life that had to be closed, but after that I convinced myself to stay in the sports world no matter what. If I could tell this younger Luis everything we have achieved, he probably wouldn’t believe it. From covering my first events doing photos for my best friends back in Costa Rica, to covering an NCAA championship or even an SEC football game, this year definitely changed my life. However, no matter how many meets, how many games, or how many cool shots I’ve taken, the best thing this year has given me has been the people.
