Richard T. Lee, M.D., leads a first-of-its kind national integrative oncology program that brings together the best of Eastern and Western medicine to improve outcomes and quality of life for people with cancer. The Cherng Family Center for Integrative Oncology at City of Hope supports our mission to provide personalized, comprehensive care for every patient - mind, body and soul. Dr. Lee continues to advance understanding of integrative oncology through groundbreaking research, including studies that have identified anticancer properties in mistletoe and mushroom extracts. Lee is the first researcher in the country to receive NIH NCI funding to conduct a clinical trial evaluating the efficacy of cannabis for chemotherapy-induced neuropathy.
