When you're choosing what companies to support while traveling, think about how they treat their employees. (And even what employees they hire.)
In countries where English is not the primary language, it is faster and cheaper to bring in seasonal staff from English-speaking countries rather than hiring and training new staff in the local area. This business practice makes higher-paying jobs inaccessible for the majority of the local population. It's a prime example of corporate exploitation, & it contributes to tourism leakage.
