When looking for hotels, tour companies or agencies to travel with, there's one key thing that can tell you everything you need to know about the company's values: Its inclusivity.
Whether you need them or not, take a moment to look through their special accommodations. Does the hotel have gender-neutral bathrooms? Do groups try to create tours that are wheelchair accessible? Are there reviews that show that this company is not accepting of all genders, races or even sizes?
We're not saying that every tour has to be wheelchair accessible to be a good company. (A lot of places around the world could never accommodate that, even if they wanted to.) But we are saying that when you see places that do, that shows that the management has sat down to think about how to best serve their guests -- all of their guests. It shows a level of caring you may not find elsewhere.
