She picks up rocks from the river to examine. The water makes her feel refreshed and renewed. Lauren Houskeeper is about to graduate with a Master’s in Watershed Science from qcnrusu. She’s worked with Water Quality Extension USU for the past five years. A big part of her job is making science digestible for the public, and she would love to do more volunteer management in the future. “When you see people get really excited about something that you’re passionate about, it makes your job satisfaction go up exponentially,” Lauren said.
