it’s about damn time! — part 1/3, the stars ⭐️ basketball is the game i’ve loved my entire life. as an obsessive kid, i played til sunset everyday and watched others play on tv every night. that passion never stopped — now i’m lucky to be a part of the creative side of the women’s basketball community, sharing the incredible talent and beauty we’ve seen all along! this 2024 class has made astronomical strides for the growth of the game - breaking records and reaching new fanbases. this summer, these women are playing in the wnba and all the excitement is following them to the next level. it brings me to tears thinking about how little liz would react if she knew the most famous players in the world are women. now it’s the norm for my lil niece and i get to share it with her like i’m a little kid again!
