ESPOO I’m leaving Espoo feeling inspired and grateful. This week had its highs and lows, but I’m happy with the progress I’ve made. Part of my process of coming back to competition is accepting that I can’t be back at 100% right away. Allowing myself to be okay with not performing at my fullest capacity is especially difficult; it’s so easy for me to get caught up in the negativity of the mistakes I made. And while it’s important for me to acknowledge mistakes, it’s equally important for me to remember where I started and how far I’ve come. I’m learning how to relish the small victories in the process of getting back to peak condition. I’m encouraged by the progress I’ve made in the last week and a half and I’m excited to get home and continue training. To everyone that has sent me positive messages and/or told me how much they love my programs this year- I can’t thank you enough. I have more work ahead, but it doesn’t scare me. I know I’m capable of so much more and I know I’ll get ...
