DeBethune was founded in 2002 as an independent brand by the celebrated watchmaker Denis Flageollet. Three years later he introduced this statement piece. The DBS takes inspiration from pocket watch cases, the crown is positioned at 12, and we see two bullet-lugs fixed at the 6 position. The crown side at 12 features an articulated lug which makes the DBS case wearing exceptionally well. The hands are executed in an 'open-worked Breguet' style, which are now hallmarks of the modern DeBethune brand, and the semi-skelotonized dial allows for an incredible view of the balance spring.
