🛑 Stop sexualizing breasts! I recently spoke @thebabyshows about what happens to our breasts during and after baby to demystify and destigmatize the experience so we can have conversations around our body parts without shame or embarrassment 🙅🏽‍♀️ One thing that does come up in our experience of fittings is the polarizing experience we have in our relationship with our breasts, and how deeply we may associate our identity with it whether postpartum, in menopause or mastectomy. Breastfeeding is a natural and common way to feed our children yet all of a sudden we are faced with the right to do so being “politicized” or “objectified” - even though every other species in the animal kingdom does it! 🤱🏾 Did you know 46% of Canadian moms have been shamed for nursing in public? But based on our call out for breastfeeding its more like 99% - so we’re going to challenge that - it’s time for a change. 🤱🏼 FACT: IT IS legal across North America to breastfeeding yet we are still vilify...
