With it being #InternationalWomensDay, we decided to spotlight two ✌️EXTRAORDINARY women from the StrawberrysPub family, Joann and Gina! Joann has been with us for nearly forty years since she began working at Strawberry’s in the summer of 1985. On her daily commute from Staten Island, she used to pay the two-dollar toll (we wish it were still that much 😫) and quickly became friends with the toll booth agents who would visit her and routinely eat at Strawberry’s. How funny is that?! Gina joined the team four years later, in 1989, where she developed a strong friendship with Joann. As time passed, Joann, Gina, and the rest of the women on the Strawberry’s team began getting married and having children; coworkers quickly became like family, and the sisterhood bond amongst the staff grew where many of them, past and present, are still friends to this very day. 👭 Thank you, Joann and Gina, for all your years of service and hard work at #StrawberrysPub!
