What does “leave the land better than you found it” mean to you? 🎨 ⁠ ⁠ We recently partnered with local high school lphsthunderbirds to support their art and education programs while having students answer the question through creative expression. We encouraged them to interpret our founding philosophy broadly. After all, while Great-Grandpa Albert referred to “the land” we wonder if he might have meant, “Leave the world better than you found it.” 🌎⁠ ⁠ For us, leaving the land better than we found it means using regenerative organic farming practices that are a force of land-restoring, habitat-preserving, community-building wonder. But we LOVED seeing each student’s interpretation through not only beautiful but thoughtful works of art.
