Last year, we quit Earth Day. This year? We gave it to the ducks with a full-page ad in the nytimes. After all, every duck deserves to have its day! ✨🦆
What does rice have to do with ducks? Quite a ducking bit, actually! Each winter, we grow cover crops, which can help sequester carbon, restore nutrients to the soil, and provide nesting habitat for ducks. So, when we find duck nests in our fields, we hand carry the eggs to safety. Over the years, we’ve rescued an estimated 30K duck eggs.
Rescuing duck eggs isn’t just ducking adorable. It’s also representative of the vibrant ecosystems our regenerative organic farming practices help protect. And if we care this much about ducks, imagine how much we care about our rice. Yeah, a duckton.
Duck yeah! 🙌
