One of the things I love most about social productions is the budgets are a lot less than commercial shoots. While it seems counter intuitive, it allows you to be even more creative in how you get a shot you really want. This camera car arm by tiltamax is around a thousand bucks, you can mount almost any consumer camera to it. The car rigging cost a couple thousand all together with the hitch, mounts, roof rack. I did that to able to drive faster and more aggressively and it’s a small price to pay to have safety and security. This bike rider was a random guy who’d asked me about the rig at a rest stop… and he just followed me up the hill. I shot this by myself while driving.
